04/15 Red Sox (8-4) 3 Rays 2

Today was the Patriots Day game, a game that is played at 11:00 in the morning and followed by the Boston Marathon.  Obviously today's Marathon was marred by tragedy and my prayers are with the families affected by it.  But that is not what we are here to talk about on this blog.

Ryan Dempster was masterful but there are some cracks in the bullpen.  Andrew Bailey blew a save today in his first opportunity.  Fortunately Mike Napoli drove in the winning run with a double off the Green Monster in the bottom of the 9th.  Jarrod Saltalamacchia homered for the Sox.

PLAYER OF THE GAME:
RYAN DEMPSTER (7 innings, 2 hits, 1 earned run, 2 walks, 10 strikeouts)
