#947 comes from 2013 Panini Hometown Heroes, one of my favorite Panini sets since their return, because it was so much like the old Topps Fan Favorites, only with a bigger player selection. The Varitek is especially nice because, due to the catching equipment, you can't tell that the team name on the jersey has been deleted. This is the Zip Code parallel. I already had the State parallel.
947, huh? The Lost Collector just passed me on his quest to 1,000 Tino Martinez cards. He sits at 960 as of this morning. You'll soon pass my 958 Sandbergs... I was hoping to find some at shows this year, but I don't think that will be an option anytime soon.
