Red Sox Take 2 Out of 3 from Angels

Boston continued to play well, this time against the Angels at Fenway.  The first game was rained out so the teams played a double header on Saturday then finished on Sunday.

06/08 Game 1:  Angels 9 Red Sox 5 (37-25)
The game was close for a little while, but then Boston relievers could not find the strike zone leading to three bases-loaded walks that put the game out of reach.  Boston did rally in the bottom of the 9th, but they were down too fa to make a complete comeback.

PLAYER OF THE GAME:

MIKE CARP:  3 for 5, 2 runs, 2 RBIs, home run

06/08 Game 2:  Red Sox 7 (38-25) Angels 2
