Boston's Futures Game Representative in 2018

Boston's farm system is in a state of chaos right now.  Over the last few years, a number of key prospects have been traded.  Some have been promoted to the Majors.  And this season injuries have derailed a lot of careers.

Nevertheless, Boston managed to have one representative in this year's Futures Game, an exhibition that Boston prospects have performed well at in the past (both Che-Hsuan Lin and Yoan Moncada have won the MVP Awards).
This is the 2018 Bowman Camo parallel of Bryan Mata, one of Boston's top pitching prospects.  Mata pitched one inning, allowing a walk and a hit, while picking up a strikeout.  He pitched reasonably well, but that was the high point for Red Sox fans.

  1. I remember seeing on Twitter that he's due to get his first BoChro autograph later this year too (likely Bowman Chrome), should be fun.
