2018 Topps Inserts

This trade knocked off some Topps inserts that I needed, well sort of.  A couple of these were parallels of inserts, so they do not technically count as coming off of my wantlist.  But nevertheless, there is some fun stuff here.

1.  2018 Topps 1983 All Stars Blue Wade Boggs.  Boggs actually did not make his first All Star team in 1983, that was 1985.  He did win his first batting title that season thoug.

2.  2018 Topps Salute Johnny Damon.  I love the outside-the-box use of some retired players.  Damon will always be synonymous with the 2004 World Championship for me and this photo is clearly from either 2004 or 2005. 

3.  2018 Topps Longball Leaders Black Babe Ruth.  Ruth hit 49 out of his 714 home runs for the Red Sox.  He led the league in home runs twice, in 1918 and 1919.  In 1918, he hit 11.  In 1919 he hit a then-record 29. 

4.  2018 Topps 1983 Andrew Benintendi.  And we have Benintendi again.
