I have stopped the mini player collection for Steven Wright. I am concerned about his future in Boston after his early season-ending injury this season. I suspect he is a non-tender candidate after the season. I still like the player though, and I could not pass up a chance at getting my first autograph card of him. That is what this 2017 Finest Autograph card is. I will still pick up cards of him as I go along, of course, but the focus is over. Jason Varitek is once again the only mini-player collection in my Red Sox collection, though you can hardly call a player I am pushing for 1,000 cards of, a mini-player collection.
