It has been awhile since my last new Jason Varitek card. I honestly did not even know these cards existed. They are pretty rare after all. It would be better if they were game-used patches with the autograph, but I will settle for the manufactured patch auto. This card is numbered out of just ten and is from the 2009 SP Authentic set. I will have to try and get the other letters from his name, but I am not too optimistic since this is an eight-year old set now. Most Jason Varitek cards I need these days are pretty high-end, so getting to 1,000 is going to be a bit of an ordeal.
