Jason Varitek has appeared in a good number of sets this year, so it may be getting easier to finally get to that nice round number I am seeking. One of the earliest cards from this year was from Topps Series 1. Varitek appeared in the 1985 Autographs insert set. I finally got one. It took a little while, mostly because his autograph cards have been maintaining a somewhat high price.
I suppose here I could complain that he did not appear in one set I expected. I have mentioned many times before how big a fan I am of the Fan Favorites set. Varitek has yet to appear in that one. Oh well. Plenty of other cards to chase.
