It did not take long for Adley Rutschman to haunt his former team. In his first game against the Orioles since being traded to the Red Sox, Rutschman hit two homers, driving in two runs and scoring three times in a 6-5 victory. Nick Sogard and Roman Anthony also homered in the game. Jake Bennett started the game, but did not figure in the decision. Deadline acquisition Erik Miller got the win with a scoreless inning of relief in which he walked two, but also struck out two. Aroldis Chapman got the save.
