Topps Now and Heritage Packages

Getting tired of mailday posts?  Me too, but yet here we are.  I try to make things somewhat interesting by giving a little info about the players, but they do get a little tiring.  Nevertheless, here is another one:
1.  Andrew Benintendi.  This was the sole bright spot for the Red Sox during their failed postseason run.  Benintendi became the youngest player in Red Sox history to hit a home run.  Game 1 of the ALDS also featured home runs from Brock Holt and Sandy Leon.  Together they were the only three players to homer for Boston in the postseason this season.

2.  Xander Bogaerts.  This is the action image variation of Xander Bogaerts.  A few days ago I lamented that Bogaerts had slowed down in my collection, but he got a little bit of a boost in this package.

3.  Drew Pomeranz.  I am going to have to resort to trades to get the rest of the base cards from Heritage High Numbers.  I am having terrible luck with packs.  This was a step in the right direction.

4.  Hanley Ramirez/Dustin Pedroia.  Here we have the right side of the Red Sox infield in 2016.  Both players had great seasons.  Pedroia is a finalist for the Gold Glove Award at second base and had a return to form at the plate.  Hanley was one of the hottest hitters down the stretch.

5.  Mookie Betts/Xander Bogaerts.  Two of the three Killer Bees.  Mookie Betts is another finalist for the Gold Glove and a contender for the MVP.  Bogaerts struggled in the second half but had a strong overall season.

6.  David Ortiz.  I have said before: David Ortiz keeps finding his way into packages.  It will not be long before he ends up third in my collection.
