Wait, Gary Gaetti was with the Red Sox? Yep, just look at the above picture for proof. In 1999, Gaetti was signed as a free agent in early April to help out at designated hitter. He was 41 years old. There are no card of him with the Red Sox though because he played just five games with the Red Sox before retiring. He had eleven plate appearances drawing a walk and not recording a single hit. He struck out three times but did manage an RBI. So yes, it makes sense that there are no cards of Gaetti with the Red Sox, but it is still disappointing.
