05/04: Rangers 5 Red Sox 1 (20-10); 05/05: Rangers 4 Red Sox 3 (20-11)

Boston's offense took the weekend off apparently.

In Saturday's game Boston managed seven hits but only one run.  John Lackey was decent, but not good enough as the offense could not solve Alexi Ogando.

PLAYER OF THE GAME:
JUNICHI TAZAWA: 1 inning, 1 hit, 3 strikeouts

David Ortiz and David Ross hit home runs in the first two innings of Sunday's game but Jon Lester could not hold the lead and the offense was done after that, striking out 14 times against Yu Darvish.  Former Sox Adrian Beltre drove in the winning run in the bottom of the ninth off of Clayton Mortenson.

PLAYER OF THE GAME:
DAVID ORTIZ 1 for 3, 2 run home run
