Daryl Irvine emerged as a 25 year old rookie in 1990. He pitched in one game in April and then was called back up as bullpen depth in August. Irvine is one of the few Red Sox rookie cards in 1990. Irvine finished the season 1-1 with a 4.67 ERA in 11 games for the Red Sox. He struck out nine but walked ten.
Irvine would pitch in nine games in 1991 then 21 in 1992. He was traded after the season for Jeff Richardson and never made it back to the Major Leagues.
