1. Garrett Crochet. This card shows the ERA leaders. Skubal had the best ERA in the league and that seems to be the primary reason that he won the Cy Young Award over Crochet. Crochet finished third, behind Skubal and Hunter Brown.
2. Garrett Crochet. Crochet finished second in the league in wins behind the Yankees' Max Fried, and ahead of the Yankees' Carlos Rodon.
3. Romy Gonzalez. I discussed Romy a fair amount in my Underrated Player of the Year for 2025 post. He is just the kind of winning player teams need, but unfortunately, teams do kind of need to catch lightning in a bottle on them because these types of players do not always age well. He has been injured for most of the season, so it is easy to give him a bit of a pass, but his current production is not really going to cut it.
4. Brayan Bello. What has happened to Bello? After a decent 2025 season, Bello's numbers are really rough this season. He has had a ton of problems in the first inning. His ERA of 6.06 this season is primarily a result of blowing up in the first inning almost every time. On occasions in which he has been used after an opener, he's been great. It's a really weird thing.
